How to read ATV tire sizing
For example we consider a tire size below:
25-8-12
First number 25 represents the overall height of the tire in inches when mounted and inflated to the recommended tire pressure. In this example, the tire is 25 inches tall.
Second number 8 is the overall width of the tire in inches when mounted and inflated to the recommended tire pressure. In this example, the tire is 8 inches wide.
Third and last number 12 represents the diameter of the wheel in inches that this tire will mount to. In this example it will mount to a 12 inch diameter wheel.
